Danish Salmon produces sustainable Atlantic salmon in their faculty in Hirtshals, Denmark. They use an advanced Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS), with which up to 99% of the water is recycled daily. This closed system minimizes the impact on natural water sources and prevents threats such as disease transmission and sea parasites. The culture process includes mechanical and biological filtration, denitrification, UV disinfection and oxygen enrichment. Thanks to this technology, salmon is grown in an environmentally friendly and cost-efficient manner.
