Geep is a family of needle fish and has several species spread worldwide. This is known internationally as Garfish and swim to a depth of 30m in the waters of the Atlantic from Norway to Morocco to the Mediterranean. Deep is a long-stretched silver-colored fish and has a green blue backing and can reach a length of 90cm with a weight of 1kg. Geep has a distinctive head and has a kind of beak that you would rather expect from birds. The elongated lower and upper jaw is pointed and has small sharp teeth. Gep is also called meivis, and that has everything to do with the annual moment when it appears on our coast. Large specimens are most common in Norway's waters. Deep is only available during warmer periods of the year.
