Description
The Portuguese oysters Aveiro is a clam, Latin called ‘Crassostrea Gigas’. The Aveiro is grown in a purification system in Portugal. The number 3 weighs between 60 and 90 gr, so there are 13 to 16 pieces per kilo. The animals must be alive at the time of purchase and contain a normal quantity of water. If open, they must respond adequately to palpitations and the shell must be able to close completely or partially at its own power.
