Description

Rascasse rouge is the French-speaking name for the scorpion fish that is internationally known as large Scale Scorpionfish. The number of species belonging to the family of scorpion fish is large. Scorpion fish occur all over the world, mostly in the warmer waters. This scorpion fish can be found in the waters of South Africa to the Mediterranean Sea, and swim to a depth of 500 m.
