Description
The blue horse mackerel originates from the large family of mackerel. This specimen appears in the eastern parts of the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, but also in the North Sea. The Trachurus Trachurus can reach a length of 60 cm with a weight of 2 kg and swim to a depth of 1000 m. Horse mackerel is silver colored with a blue/gray top. All horse mackerel have something characteristic. The tail side of the fish has characteristic rocks. Horse mackerel is a very affordable fish if it comes from the northern waters.
